Seminar on “Climate Change and Cultural Heritage preservation” at INAPL, Argentina

Dr. Virna Meccia, from the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC) of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy, gave a lecture at the National Institute of Anthropology in Argentina entitled: “Modelling the Earth System: from climate change to the cultural heritage preservation”.

This was one of the dissemination activities conducted in the frame of TECTONIC project. Dr. Meccia is currently completing a two-month secondment to CONICET and the Ministry of Culture in Argentina, third country partners within TECTONIC. Dr. Meccia’s presentation was attended both in person and virtually, and was followed by a fruitful discussion about the application of climatic models to the management of cultural heritage.
