Tectonic encounters in the Aegean and Ionian Seas: workshop and fieldwork highlights
As part of the TECTONIC project, international researchers gathered at the University of Patras for workshops and fieldwork dedicated to underwater cultural heritage. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on demonstrations of innovative conservation materials, the secondment fostered dialogue on heritage science, environmental risks, and sustainable preservation practices in the Aegean and Ionian Seas.

During July and August, the BISITE research group from the University of Salamanca (USAL) in Spain hosted a colleague from CONICET (Argentina) in the ongoing collaboration between the partners of the TECTONIC project.
